Pay with a Visa card from monobank in the VARUS and EVA retail chains and help children in evacuation

September 5, 2022 — Visa and monobank, in partnership with the EVA and VARUS retail chains, are launching a new initiative to back the “Childhood without War” project with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey. When paying with any Visa card in the amount specified in the terms of the initiative¹ in EVA stores and the VARUS supermarket chain, 5 hryvnias will be transferred to the “Childhood without War” project fund to help children in evacuation. This way, customers can become benefactors and protect children from war.

From September 5 to October 2, 2022, from every purchase of UAH 150 or more with a Visa card in EVA stores, 5 hryvnias will be transferred to help children in evacuation, and the online store will also offer a 5% discount on all products. All customers of VARUS supermarkets who spend 250 hryvnias or more on purchases, paying with a Visa card, also join the charity initiative. All products presented in VARUS supermarkets participate in the program.

If a client makes a payment with a Visa card from monobank, the amount to be transferred to charity will be doubled. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the project “Childhood without War” was created with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey and the child protection service. The project’s aim is to evacuate to Turkey orphans, children deprived of parental care, or those who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
