5% for the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians and volunteers from every order at Bolt with Visa
Visa and Bolt have joined forces to help Ukrainians. From April 1 to May 30, 2022, when paying with Visa cards on the territory of Ukraine in the Bolt and Bolt Food apps, 5% of the order amount from each transaction will be transferred to the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians and volunteers.
To support the initiative:
- Install the Bolt and Bolt Food apps
- Add any Visa card to the Bolt and Bolt Food wallets
- Order a taxi ride or food delivery.
Since the beginning of March, Bolt and Bolt Food, with the support of Visa in Ukraine, have already allocated over 1 million hryvnias for the purchase and provision of humanitarian aid. Injured Ukrainians received warm fleece clothes, basic necessities, food and medicine. For Visa, this became another local area of humanitarian assistance.
“Visa focuses on ensuring reliability and continuity of the financial sector and digital payments, as well as providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainians. In addition to the financial assistance that our global office provided to UNICEF for the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians back in March, we are also working together with our local partners, in particular the Bolt team, to implement additional initiatives, from direct financial assistance to fundraising for humanitarian aid through the use of Bolt digital services when paying with Visa cards,” commented Svitlana Chyrva, Visa Vice President, Country Manager for Ukraine.
