OnlineKasa and Visa to launch a service integrating payment acceptance technology into a messenger

KYIV, December 21, 2022 – A new service that integrates accepting payments through a smartphone into a messenger service. t.me/OnlineKasa_bot is to be launched in a partnership between OnlineKasa and Visa.

The payment solution is based on Visa Tap to Phone technology, which allows smartphones with Android OS and an NFC chip to serve as a platform for receiving contactless card payments like ordinary POS terminals.

A new service has the same reliable protection protocols as ordinary POS-systems and is based on the international EMV chip card payment standard, which generates a unique cryptogram for each transaction.

Aside from the ability to accept electronic payments via a smartphone, the solution offers businesses other benefits. For instance, the OnlineKasa chatbot allows to register software POS systems at the tax service and maintain comprehensive financial records: keep track of goods and product balances, connect taxation, generate receipts for purchases or payments for services, as well as conduct the ‘service deposit’ and ‘service withdrawal’ operations and generate Z-reports automatically.
